The Greening of the Legal Profession
This informative Webinar offered the latest thinking on ways to make your law firm or office more environmentally friendly. Our speakers included Dick Roy, Executive Director of the Oregon Lawyers for a Sustainable Future, and two ALA members: Gina Maciula, CLM of Wendel, Rosen, Black & Dean, LLP in Oakland, CA, and John Kirk, CLM of Manko, Gold, Katcher and Fox, LLP in Bala Cynwyd, PA. All three speakers shared their sustainability experiences and practices within their organizations (the Oregon State Bar and two law firms), and offered "green tips" for the myriad of services that we, as legal professionals, provide in our organizations. This 90-minute program also included a Q&A segment, which allowed for the exchange of ideas from Webinar participants.
